Reports from the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association revealed that Diamond Cruise intends to begin operations in China with another vessel. On July 26, 2015, in the port of Chios, the cruise ship was involved in a collision with a Greek Coastguard vessel due to severely limited visibility, caused by dense fog. This incident resulted in the Coastguard boat, which was carrying 25 migrants, capsizing. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and the Coastguard boat was later salvaged. Following this incident, the Aegean-Paradise was ordered to anchor for inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
