The United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) has proudly expanded its fleet with the introduction of the 13,500 TEU containership, AIN SNAN, which was officially named in Hamburg on May 25, 2012. According to MarineLink, this advanced vessel was delivered following an impressive nine-month construction period, with its completion unfolding earlier this year in January. Stretching an impressive 366 meters in length and 48 meters in width, the AIN SNAN is classified as an ultra-large container ship (ULCS) with a deadweight tonnage of over 145,000 DWT. It boasts substantial capabilities, including over 800 slots designed specifically for refrigerated containers, allowing for enhanced cargo capacity and versatility.
