The vessel 'Ratna Puja' has been successfully refloated from its grounding site located above Cubit’s Gap, approximately 10 miles south of Venice, Louisiana. After the operation, the ship made its way to South West Pass Fairway anchorage, where it was securely anchored. On June 16, salvors from Donjon-SMIT performed a detailed hull survey of the vessel while it remained at anchor. During this assessment, some damage was identified on the bilge keel; however, the hull itself was found to be intact. Following this inspection, the U.S. Coast Guard granted clearance for 'Ratna Puja' to resume its journey towards St. Eustatius.
