Following the breakdown, the ship's crew promptly initiated repairs, allowing the vessel to continue its journey from Antwerp, Belgium, to Port Cartier, Canada. After successful rectification of the issue, the 'Amstelborg' arrived at Port Cartier on November 20 at 1 PM.
