Amuesa Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

On September 18, 2019, the cargo vessel 'Amouesa' departed from Saint Nazaire in the late afternoon, but soon faced propulsion issues during its journey to the port of Caen-Ouistreham. Just off the coast of Brittany, the ship encountered an unexpected electrical failure as it was approaching the English Channel. Fortunately, the Dutch tug 'Brent' (IMO: 9507051), which was navigating from Liverpool to the Netherlands, was in the vicinity and quickly came to the rescue. The tug successfully towed the 'Amouesa' to Brest, where they docked at 8:10 a.m. on September 23 at the Quay de la Douane. After undergoing necessary repairs, the 'Amouesa' resumed its voyage on October 4 at 2:15 p.m., completing its trip to Caen on October 7 at 5:00 a.m. Later that evening at 9:00 p.m., the cargo ship departed Caen once again, this time with Lisbon as its destination, expected to arrive by October 12.
