The incident occurred when an armored vehicle targeted a block post located near the vessel, prompting an immediate evacuation of all dockworkers from the port. The Anarita, which had been docked in Tripoli since June 20 due to cargo operation delays, experienced additional overstays from the incident, but thankfully, no crew members were injured. Following the tumultuous event, Anarita departed from Tripoli on June 26 and headed to Damietta, Egypt, where it arrived on June 27.
