Angora 4 Faces Detention in Constanta After Thorough Inspection
On January 9, 2026, the vessel 'Angora 4' was detained at the Port of Constanta following a comprehensive inspection conducted under the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Maritime inspectors meticulously examined various sections of the ship, including the accommodation areas, galley, cargo hold, engine room, navigation bridge, decks, forecastle, and steering room. During their assessment, a fire drill in the galley brought to light several issues, leading to the identification of four notable deficiencies. The Angora 4 had arrived from Amsterdam the previous day, January 8, and as of January 12, the ship remained anchored in port, unable to continue its voyage.
