Major Cocaine Bust in Refrigerators Linked to Container Ship "APL Holland"

Authorities discovered over 390 kilograms of cocaine hidden within three refrigerators aboard the container ship "APL Holland" during its docking in Manzanillo, Mexico, from July 18 to 19, 2016. The illicit drugs, neatly packaged in brick form, were uncovered thanks to intelligence gathered by Navy personnel and the Tax Service. The container from which the cocaine originated was loaded in Buenaventura on July 10. Investigators confirmed that neither the vessel nor its crew were involved in the smuggling operation. Following the investigation, the "APL Holland" was permitted to continue its journey, setting sail for Yokohama on July 19.
