Theft Incident Aboard TRF Kaya in Manila

In a troubling incident, thieves stealthily boarded the cargo vessel 'TRF Kaya' on March 26, 2019, around 8:30 PM while it was docked at the Manila South anchorage, located at coordinates 14° 33' 18.0" N, 120° 54' 06.0" E. The perpetrators made off with valuable ship's properties before being detected by the vigilant duty watchman during his scheduled checks. Authorities reported that the razor wire securing the hawse pipe was tampered with, leaving behind footprints on the deck and signs of a break-in at the bosun's store. In response to the theft, the Philippines Coast Guard boarded the 'TRF Kaya' to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
