Working Conditions Aboard the As-Petronia

On October 27, 2021, the vessel AS Petronia reported an incident to the Gabinete de Investigação de Acidentes Marítimos e da Autoridade para a Meteorologia Aeronáutica (GAMA). While undergoing routine maintenance in its engine room, one crew member sustained a non-serious injury at its berth in Manzanillo. GAMA has commenced an investigation to gather evidence for analysis involving the ship and the operating company. Following the incident, AS Petronia departed from Manzanillo the same day and successfully reached Puerto Moin on October 30.
