In the wake of Innoven Marine Service's bankruptcy in Bremerhaven during the spring of 2023, the company's largest vessel, the 'Lev Twister', has officially changed ownership. The ship was sold to the British firm Atlantic Oceanic, who have rebranded it as the 'Atlantic Sovereign'. Additionally, the formerly German-flagged vessel has been registered under Belize's flag. Since February, the ship has been docked at the West Quay in Bremerhaven, awaiting its next chapter.
Ocean King Enters Layup After Contract Conclusion with Statoil
Atlantic Offshore has announced the layup of the 'Ocean King' following the expiration of its contract with Statoil, with no further extensions planned. Initially, in December 2015, the contract for the vessel operating in the Norne field was extended until the summer. However, the final contract period concluded on July 2, 2016. Subsequently, the 'Ocean King' arrived at its berth in Frederikshavn on August 3, where it is now laid up.
