In the early hours of February 6, 2014, a fire ignited in the smokestack of the cargo vessel "Autoprestige" while it was en route from Gdynia, Poland, to Zeebrugge, Belgium. The ship had departed Gdynia on February 4 and had successfully navigated through the Øresund Strait and the Kattegat before heading towards Skagen. The onboard crew swiftly took action to extinguish the blaze without requiring outside help. Approximately 20 nautical miles off the coast of Hanstholm, the vessel continued its journey under its own power and arrived at basin 1 at 10:30 AM, where it was assisted by the tug "CB Claudi" and the local pilot boat.
