What Crew Members Say About Baltic-Madonna

On the evening of April 9, 2018, the cargo vessel Baltic Madonna, which has a draft of 4.9 meters, ran aground in the Grønsund fairway off North Falster, close to Stubbekøbing at approximately 6:45 PM. In the early hours of May 9, 2012, a maritime mishap occurred when the cargo vessel 'Nordic Chantal' collided with the gate of the southern old lock in Brunsbuettel, Germany. The allision happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. while the ship was making its way from Antwerp to Hallstavik, Sweden. The impact resulted in considerable damage to both the vessel and the lock gate.
