Beatrix Cargo Hold Cover Compromised in Montreal Incident
On November 19, 2018, at 11:25 a.m., the cargo vessel 'Beatrix' experienced a mishap while unloading at the port of Montreal. A bundle of steel inadvertently slipped from its lifting sling, resulting in damage to one of the ship's cargo hold covers. The incident occurred at coordinates 45 13 22.1 N, 74 05 16.6 W. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or additional damage to the vessel. Following the incident, 'Beatrix' made its way to Toronto, where it arrived on November 20.
