Bourbon-Horus Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On March 15, 2020, at 4:05 PM, the offshore vessel 'Bourbon Horus', positioned at 06 04 19.2S, 012 18 15.6E in Kwanda anchorage, Angola, encountered a tense situation. Two skiffs approached the vessel, with one carrying four individuals and the other with six. Notably, one of the skiffs was reported to be armed. Quick action was taken by the Officer of the Watch, who promptly raised the alert and activated the Ship Security Alert System (SSAS). Upon hearing the alarm, the skiffs retreated, leaving the area. The incident was reported to local authorities, who subsequently dispatched a patrol vessel to the anchorage to investigate further.
