Industry insiders, including sources from Clarksons, Advanced Shipping & Trading, Seasure Shipbroking, and Lion Shipbroking, have confirmed the purchase of the 104,000 deadweight ton (dwt) Maersk Jeddah and Maersk Jamnagar from Maersk Tankers. This acquisition marks a pivotal expansion for Diana Shipping, which currently operates a fleet of 45 dry bulk vessels. The financial terms for each aframax tanker stand at $30.3 million, surpassing VesselsValue's estimated worth of $26.69 million per vessel.
