On the night of June 4, 2019, the mussel cutter "Luctor ET - BRU 14" was involved in a significant collision with another inland container vessel on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, situated between Lagerweide and Breukelen. The impact resulted in substantial damage, particularly crushing the bow of the Luctor ET - BRU 14. Fortunately, the vessel was able to navigate under its own power to the Kooiman Hoebee Shipyard in Dordrecht for necessary repairs. It successfully arrived in Dordrecht by midnight on June 6. Following the completion of repairs, the mussel cutter made its way to Den Oever, docking at 6 p.m. on July 11. After a short stay, it set off again at 6 a.m. on July 15, heading towards Bruinisse.
