On May 25, 2022, at approximately noon, the Port Authority of Rethymno received notification from the captain of the vessel 'Caldera Vista' regarding an injury sustained by a crew member. The sailor was engaged in cleaning machinery within the ship when the incident occurred. Emergency services promptly transported the injured sailor to the General Hospital of Rethymnon for urgent medical attention. In the aftermath of the incident, the Rethymnon Port Authority has initiated a preliminary investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the injury.

On September 24, 2021, the ferry 'Caldera Vista' experienced an allision with the pier in Syros while navigating its scheduled route that included stops at Karystos, Andros, and Tinos. At the time, the vessel was carrying 31 passengers. The incident occurred during a berthing maneuver when the vessel's port side stern made contact with the dock. The Syros Port Authority was promptly notified of the situation, leading to an investigation into the circumstances. The boat sustained damage to its port-side water propulsion system. Unfortunately, one crew member suffered injuries and was swiftly transported to the general hospital in Syros for treatment. The ferry remained detained at the port until repairs were completed and a class maintenance certificate was obtained from the classification society. Meanwhile, the ship-owning company ensured that all passengers were safely transferred to their respective destinations.
