Working Conditions Aboard the Cap-San-Artemissio

In a startling discovery on the night of November 26, 2016, authorities uncovered a staggering 233 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a container of charcoal bags aboard the cargo ship 'Cap San Artemissio' while it was docked at the port of Santos. The illicit cargo was reportedly smuggled aboard by traffickers who approached the vessel from the sea in a small boat. They managed to hoist the drug-laden bags onto the deck and subsequently hid them within the container. Despite the seriousness of the situation, no arrests were made during the investigation; however, dockworkers and stevedores were questioned regarding their possible involvement, with no indications suggesting crew members were implicated in the smuggling operation. Following the completion of the preliminary investigation, the 'Cap San Artemissio' departed Santos on November 28 at 5:40 a.m., setting its course for Antwerp via Tanger, with an estimated time of arrival on December 10.
