On December 22, 2020, the Port Authority of Mykonos received notifications regarding a serious incident involving a 32-year-old crew member from the vessel 'Paros'. This event occurred on December 21, as the ship was making its way from Leros to Mykonos. The sailor sustained a significant injury to his right knee after losing his footing on an internal ladder. Following the accident, he was promptly transferred to a private clinic located in Mykonos. Subsequently, he was taken to the General Hospital of Attica, known as 'KAT', for further medical evaluation. The Leros Port Authority is currently conducting a preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
