Working Conditions Aboard the Cezanne

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the leading South Korean shipbuilder, has kicked off the year with a remarkable dual naming ceremony for two 10,000 TEU container ships destined for the esteemed Greek shipping company, Oceanbulk Maritime SA. The sisters ships were christened in honor of iconic artists, with Cezanne named after the legendary French painter and Dali after the renowned Spanish surrealist. The delivery of Cezanne was completed today, while Dali is set to join the fleet by the end of March 2023. These state-of-the-art vessels boast impressive dimensions, measuring 300 meters in length, 48.2 meters in width, and 24.8 meters in depth, with a competitive service speed of 22 knots. HHI has ambitious plans this year, targeting the completion and delivery of a total of 74 ships, including 25 additional container vessels.
