This incident occurred approximately 35 miles south of Rame Head, precisely at coordinates 49°43'14" N, 004°08'37" W. The vessel, which was transporting a substantial cargo of 17,916 tonnes, had a crew of 21 onboard at the time of the incident. The crew spent about an hour assessing the situation and performing necessary repairs as the ship drifted eastward, away from the coastline. Communication with the ship was successfully established within the hour, and by 8 a.m., the issue had been resolved.
