DOF Subsea Secures Long-Term Charter for Jones Act Vessel MV Chloe Candies in Gulf of Mexico
DOF Subsea, a prominent Norwegian owner, has announced a significant partnership with Louisiana-based Otto Candies for the charter of the IMR vessel, MV Chloe Candies, which complies with the Jones Act. This strategic move has come as a result of DOF Subsea winning multiple contracts across North America. The charter agreement spans a firm period of one year with an option for an additional year, set to commence in March 2014. The vessel will be operated by DOF Subsea North America, focusing on various subsea projects within the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Furthermore, DOF Subsea North America has successfully secured an additional contract for the use of the Chloe Candies for an extended duration of 5 + 2 months.
