Christina-1 Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On June 27, 2025, the 'Christina I' encountered serious issues that led to its detention in Antalya. The vessel was found with 12 deficiencies, three of which were deemed critical enough to warrant the detention. The serious shortcomings included malfunctioning emergency systems, specifically, the emergency steering gear's position indicator and compass reading, which were inoperative. Additionally, the ship’s fire safety protocols were compromised due to the fire detection and alarm system failing to function, along with issues concerning the jacketed high-pressure lines and an oil leakage alarm system that also proved inoperative. After addressing the deficiencies, the 'Christina I' was cleared for departure and left the port on July 1. The vessel made its way to Tuzla, arriving on July 4, and set sail once again on July 7, this time heading towards Damietta, where it successfully berthed on July 12.
