Seatrade Blue Overcomes Engine Trouble During Voyage to Noumea
On July 21, 2017, the freshly minted vessel 'Seatrade Blue' encountered an unexpected engine malfunction while navigating approximately 280 miles ESE of Noumea, New Caledonia. The ship was on its way from Papeete to Noumea when the situation arose. Demonstrating resourcefulness, the crew managed to address the engine issue independently, allowing the ship to safely arrive in Noumea around midnight. Shortly thereafter, on July 22, 'Seatrade Blue' departed the port once more, setting its course for Nelson with an estimated arrival date of July 25.
