Hapag-Lloyd has officially introduced its latest shipping service, the Turkey Israel Express, starting with the inaugural journey of the MV FLINTERCOAST on May 5, 2015. The vessel, on its maiden voyage designated as 001EB / DP 94100, will depart from Mersin, Turkey. This new service aims to enhance connectivity between key ports in the region. In conjunction with the Turkey Israel Express, the existing Black Sea Service (BSF) remains operational, maintaining a dependable port rotation that includes Port Said (East), Ashdod, Istanbul, Constanta, and Odessa. The new initiative, according to a press release from the company, is designed to facilitate fast and reliable shipping connections weekly across major ports in Egypt, Israel, Italy, and Turkey, strengthening Hapag-Lloyd's commitment to efficient maritime logistics.
