What Crew Members Say About Cma-Cgm-Loire

On February 5th, the CMA CGM Group proudly welcomed two new additions to its fleet: CMA CGM LOIRE and CMA CGM URAL. These vessels officially joined the fleet on February 13th and 14th, respectively. They are part of an impressive fleet expansion, marking the 5th and 6th ships within a series consisting of 28 vessels, each designed to handle between 9,400 TEUs and 10,900 TEUs. This series, named after notable rivers around the globe, commenced deliveries with the CMA CGM DANUBE, CMA CGM ELBE, CMA CGM LITANI, and CMA CGM TIGRIS, which began their operations starting June 30th, 2014. Both the CMA CGM LOIRE and CMA CGM URAL are flagged under Malta and were built in China; the former was constructed at DSIC shipyard in Dalian, while the latter was crafted at NTS (New Times Shipbuilding), located in Jiangsu Province. With a nominal capacity of 9,365 TEUs for the CMA CGM LOIRE and 10,622 TEUs for the CMA CGM URAL, these vessels are set to enhance CMA CGM's operational capabilities significantly.
