In a significant maritime transaction, a vessel has been sold for $9.6 million to Borealis Maritime, a prominent UK-based company. In a strategic move, BNP Paribas, the prominent Italian leasing entity operating under BNP Paribas Lease Group, has announced the sale of two notable containerships: Ital Milione and Ital Moderna. These vessels are currently managed by the Evergreen-controlled Italia Marittima. Industry sources indicate that the two sister ships, each with a capacity of 4,363 TEU, were constructed in South Korea and delivered by Hyundai Mipo in 2008. Ital Milione is set to conclude its time charter agreement in June, while Ital Moderna's charter will end in 2019.
