This significant service debuted on July 2, 2023, and is designed to enhance connectivity between South Asia and major ports in the Arabian Gulf and Mediterranean regions. The INDIAMED service operates weekly, utilizing vessels from CMA-CGM, its APL subsidiary, and Chinese carrier COSCO, ensuring rapid transit times for shipments. The new route also bolsters the transshipment network with services MEGEM (East Mediterranean and Middle East) and MEDEX (West Mediterranean and Indian Sub-Continent). This development is set to facilitate smoother trade flows and strengthen maritime links between India and the Mediterranean and Arabian Gulf markets.
