The Cmacgm-Georg-Forster: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

In an impressive display of maritime innovation, CMA CGM Group has officially launched its most expansive vessel to date, the CMA CGM Georg Forster, boasting a capacity of 18,000 TEU. The ceremonial christening took place on Tuesday in Hamburg, Germany, with notable attendees including Jacques R. Saadé, Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM Group, and Mrs. Christine Kuehne, who served as the ship’s godmother. The event drew interest from various institutional and political figures, as well as partners and clients of the company. Measuring an impressive 398 meters in length, the CMA CGM Georg Forster was delivered to the fleet on June 2nd and marks the second addition to a series of six vessels of similar size expected to bolster operations in 2015.
