In a significant development within the maritime industry, Milaha has successfully finalized a new time charter agreement. The contract, which is set for a duration of 4 to 6 months, will see operations in Turkey and the Black Sea region. Under this agreement, the daily charter rate is set at $7500, further bolstering Milaha's position in the competitive shipping market.

Seago Line has bolstered its feeder service from Liverpool with the addition of a new container vessel. As a subsidiary of global shipping giant Maersk, Seago has integrated the 168-meter-long ship, Independent Accord, into its fresh cargo route. This route connects Algeciras in southern Spain, Liverpool, and Dublin. Since its launch in April, the service was initiated to offer direct cargo linkages between the North West of England, Ireland, and the Mediterranean, while also enhancing trade connections with North and West Africa. The spring return of the Maersk Group to Liverpool marked a significant milestone, being the first instance in over a decade that the company utilized the port for UK shipments. This new route represents Maersk’s inaugural direct connection to Dublin, further positioning the company within the Irish trade landscape. The Independent Accord takes over from the 1,100 TEU Antwerp, which had been servicing the route from the Liverpool2 terminal.
