Bolier has successfully completed its inaugural retrofit of a MaK engine to dual fuel capability, transforming a 6M43C engine into a 6M46 on the Coral Anthelia. This significant project, commissioned by Anthony Veder, marks a noteworthy advancement in the company’s collaboration with Caterpillar / MaK. Between 2012 and 2013, Anthony Veder enhanced its fleet by building four new ethylene carriers, each equipped with MaK 6M43C propulsion engines, paving the way for this innovative upgrade.
