MSC is set to upgrade its Levante Express service, introducing enhanced rotations that will commence at the end of April 2017. The revamped route includes key ports: Felixstowe, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Valencia, Beirut, Alexandria, Mersin, Iskenderun, Naples, La Spezia, and back to Felixstowe. This updated service aims to provide a consistent and dependable shipping experience throughout the year for both Southbound and Northbound journeys. Notably, it will feature a direct service to Beirut in both directions, along with scheduled connections to the Syrian ports of Lattakia and Tartous. Additionally, there will be regular transport from Naples to North West Coast (NWC) ports and improved transit times from La Spezia to NWC locations. Despite the changes, there will be no alterations to the current schedule of calls at NWC ports, Egypt, and Turkey. The inaugural sailings for this revised service are already planned.
