On December 26, 2016, at midday, the container vessel CSCL Uranus encountered fierce storm gusts that caused it to break free from its moorings at the Container Terminal Tollerort in Hamburg while arriving from Rotterdam. In response to the precarious situation, six tugboats, including the Michel, Peter, and Fairplay VI, were dispatched to assist in securing the ship. Thanks to the swift actions of the crews, the CSCL Uranus was successfully maneuvered back to the quay and safely moored at Vulkanhöft later that evening.

On April 2nd, 2023, Gulftainer celebrated a momentous occasion as the CSCL Uranus, the largest vessel to ever dock at the Khorfakkan Container Terminal in Sharjah, made its inaugural visit from the Far East. This impressive container ship, launched from a Korean shipyard on March 9, 2012, boasts remarkable dimensions with an overall length of 366 meters and a breadth of 51 meters. With a staggering total container capacity of 14,074 TEUs, the CSCL Uranus stands as a testament to modern maritime engineering. It not only marks a significant milestone for Khorfakkan but also represents the largest vessel from China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) to call at any port in the Middle East.
