China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has proudly welcomed the CSCL Venus, the second of eight impressively designed vessels each boasting a capacity of 14,074 TEU, delivered by Samsung Heavy Industries. Each ship in this series carries a price tag of USD 170 million. The CSCL Venus is set to enhance CSCL's operational capabilities on the Far-East Europe route, specifically within the AEX 1/CEM service, complementing its sister ship, the CSCL Evergreen. Notably, this vessel is classified as a neo-panamax, designed to efficiently navigate the expanded Panama Canal locks, featuring a width that accommodates 20 container rows across its decks.
