On December 5, 2025, at approximately noon, the bulk carrier 'Rama H' (IMO: 8105404) collided with the anchored vessel 'CSS Dijle' at coordinates 45° 12' N 028° 51' E, close to Tulcea. The incident occurred when 'Rama H' experienced rudder difficulties, resulting in a sudden impact against the starboard side of the moored 'CSS Dijle.' The force of the collision caused 'Rama H' to scrape along the hull of 'CSS Dijle,' inflicting considerable damage. Investigations revealed that the captain of 'Rama H' failed to comply with the vigilance protocols mandated by Danube Navigation Regulations, leading to this unfortunate incident. As a consequence of these findings, the captain has received a fine of 30,000 lei. Despite the ordeal, both vessels eventually departed from the Port of Tulcea to continue their respective journeys.
