On November 7, 2018, at 9 a.m., the cargo vessel 'SITC Kaohsiung' encountered trouble as it approached Mikawa port in Aichi Prefecture, running aground. After two hours of effort, the ship was successfully refloated by 11 a.m. Subsequently, it was anchored at Toyohashi at the coordinates 34° 44' 19'' N and 137° 18' 29'' E. Following a brief stay, the ship resumed its journey to Yokkaichi, where it docked at 3 p.m.
