EXMAR LPG has announced the completion of the sale of two significant gas carriers: the Very Large Gas Carrier FLANDERS TENACITY, with a capacity of 84,270 m3 and built in 1996, and the Midsize Gas Carrier EEKLO, boasting a 37,450 m3 capacity and constructed in 1995. According to the company’s recent press release, both vessels are slated for delivery to their new owners throughout June. This strategic move is expected to result in a capital gain of approximately USD 18.0 million for EXMAR, reflecting its 50% stake in EXMAR LPG. Furthermore, the transaction will provide EXMAR LPG with net cash proceeds estimated at around USD 44.0 million, significantly enhancing its financial stability.
