In a brazen act of maritime theft, the MV Dalma was targeted by unidentified assailants on December 9, 2024, at approximately 3:17 a.m. The incident occurred while the vessel was navigating the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme in the Singapore Strait, specifically about 3.1 nautical miles northwest of Pulau Cula, at coordinates 1° 3.5' S 98° 103.39.8' E. During the boarding, the intruders successfully made off with a B.A compressor. Fortunately, the crew onboard remained unharmed throughout the ordeal.
