On the evening of May 6, 2016, a maritime incident unfolded in the Bosphorus Strait when the bulk carrier 'CMB Edouard' collided with the vessel 'Mobidik' in the Arnavutkoy vicinity. The 'CMB Edouard' was traveling northward, making its way from Guatemala to Ilyichevsk at the time of the incident, which was reported around 10 p.m. Following the collision, the 'Mobidik' sustained damage and required assessment.
