In a brazen late-night theft, three armed assailants boarded the commercial vessel "DHT Lion" while it was anchored off Pointe Noire, Congo, on October 22, 2018, at approximately 11:10 PM. The incident unfolded at coordinates 004°46'50"S, 011°47'01"E when a vigilant crew member spotted the intruders on the forecastle deck. An immediate alarm was triggered, prompting the crew to muster for safety. Fortunately, the thieves fled the scene before they could be apprehended. Following the alarming breach, a thorough search of the vessel revealed several belongings had been stolen. The occurrence was promptly reported to the port control authorities for further investigation.
