On August 6, 2019, the cargo vessel 'Dinamik' experienced a significant main engine failure while navigating in ballast condition from Cardiff to Antwerp. The breakdown occurred at approximately 09:20 a.m. in position 050 22 05 N, 005 57 04 W, prompting the crew to anchor the vessel at 5:15 p.m. 15 nautical miles northwest of Pendeen, specifically at position 050 19 12 N, 005 45 24 W. To assist with the situation, the Vanuatu-flagged tug 'Gladiator' (IMO: 7390911) was deployed from Falmouth on August 7.
