In the early hours of September 13, 2024, at 03:50 a.m., the KNRM sprang into action for a medical evacuation involving the sailing vessel 'Eendracht' off the coast of Egmond aan Zee. A medical emergency occurred onboard that necessitated the immediate removal of a patient. The lifeboat from IJmuiden was dispatched to the scene, successfully transferring the patient on a stretcher. After the evacuation, the lifeboat sped back to IJmuiden, where an ambulance awaited to transport the patient to the hospital for further medical attention. On March 23, 2013, at approximately 4 p.m., an urgent call for assistance was made to the CROSS Corsen from the sailing vessel 'Eendracht.' The ship, situated 16 nautical miles off the coast of Roscoff, reported that their chief engineer, a 59-year-old man, had suffered a heart attack. After a thorough discussion involving the maritime medical consultation center in Toulouse, the CROSS Corsen and the crew of 'Eendracht,' a decision was swiftly reached to conduct a medical evacuation. In response, the CROSS Corsen deployed a Cayman helicopter from the French Navy, equipped with a specialized medical team from the military health service. The dedicated crew successfully hoisted the ailing engineer and transported him to Cavale Blanche Hospital in Brest for further treatment, ensuring he received the urgent care he required.

On September 25, 2010, at 5 p.m., the vessel 'Eendracht' (IMO 8814275) found itself in a precarious situation while attempting to enter the port of Scheveningen. Due to inclement weather featuring strong winds, the ship was blown off course and ended up dangerously close to the beach. After anchoring, the crew realized that moving the vessel from its shallow position was nearly impossible without assistance. In response to the emergency, the Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij (KNRM) quickly dispatched the rescue tug 'Kitty Roosmale Nepveu' to the scene, which made a connection at the stern of the 'Eendracht'. Shortly thereafter, the tugboat 'Oceaan 2' arrived, taking over the towing duties. Together, they successfully navigated the vessel to a safe deep-water location at the Adriaan Maas Quay, ensuring its secure berth.
