On December 8, 2025, the fully loaded cargo vessel 'Eeva VG', on a journey from Loviisa to Amsterdam, encountered a significant mechanical failure off the coast of Grenaa. This unfortunate incident rendered the ship disabled, compelling it to drop anchor. To assist with the situation, the tugboat 'Anteos' (IMO: 9223681) was dispatched from Ulsteinvik and successfully took the Eeva VG in tow, guiding it towards its destination port. On December 16, after several days of towing, the vessel made its way into the Kiel Canal the following morning, aided by the stern tug 'OSK Rendsburg'. By the evening of December 17, Eeva VG reached Brunsbüttel, where it has remained stationary as of December 19.
