On September 5, 2024, a tragic accident occurred aboard the vessel 'Elena,' which was anchored in the southern harbor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A Salvadoran crew member lost his life following a fall from a height of 12 meters while engaged in a supply operation from a barge. The crew member失s balance and fell onto the barge's deck, resulting in severe injuries that left him unconscious. In response to this tragic event, the Civil Guard's judicial brigade has initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
