On November 25, 2011, the 'Elieser 6', a vessel operated by the Seamen's Mission, encountered a significant engine failure while navigating the Fens Fjord at 10:18 a.m. The situation grew increasingly precarious due to the challenging weather conditions, including strong winds. At the time of the incident, four individuals were aboard the vessel. To ensure a safe resolution, a tugboat was dispatched to tow the 'Elieser 6' to a wharf at Fonnes in Mongstad.
