Working Conditions Aboard the Emine-Anne

On February 21, 2020, the cargo vessel 'Emine Anne', while navigating the Istanbul Strait on its journey from Varna to Diliskelesi, encountered a technical malfunction. At precisely 03:30 a.m., the ship anchored at Büyükdere for necessary repairs conducted by its onboard crew. After successfully addressing the issue, 'Emine Anne' resumed its voyage and arrived at Gebze on February 22, docking at 1:25 a.m.

On the morning of July 20, 2016, at 7:32 a.m., the cargo ship "Emine Anne" experienced a loss of control and ran aground on the breakwater in Bozcaada, located in the Çanakkale region. The vessel was making its way from Constanta to Ancona, carrying a significant load of 1,330 tons of profile iron and operating with a crew of nine members. In response to the emergency, the ship's captain promptly contacted the Dardanelles Strait Vessel Traffic Services Office for help.
