In the early hours of December 11, 2017, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the tank barge 'Enjoy' (IMO: 9468346, EU-No.: 02329914) experienced significant damage following a collision on the Rhine River near Weißenthurm. The incident unfolded as the 2,505-ton vessel was preparing to dock alongside a berthed barge to load a vehicle. As another barge made its way past, the mooring lines of the 'Enjoy' gave way, causing the vessel to drift into the fairway where it collided with another barge navigating downstream. All three vessels involved in the collision sustained damage, with the 'Enjoy' showing notable dents along its port side bow. Following the incident, the 'Enjoy' was detained for inspection.
