In a significant maritime transaction, Bermuda-based DHT Holdings has successfully acquired an enticing fleet for a total of $256 million. The package includes vessels such as the BW EDELWEISS, valued at $45 million, alongside two identical ships, BW LOTUS and BW PEONY, each priced at $53.7 million. The deal also encompasses DAEWOO 5438 and DAEWOO 5437, both listed at $86.1 million. Other additions include the BW OPAL at $64.2 million, BW BAUHINIA at $41 million, BW UTIK at $23.2 million, and BW LAKE and BW LION, both fetching $30.9 million each. With this strategic acquisition, DHT Holdings is bolstering its fleet while balancing its financials with $177 million in cash and $104 million in debt. This move underscores the growing presence of DHT Holdings in the maritime industry.
