In a concerning maritime incident, the container ship 'Ever Linking' experienced a quay allision at the container terminal in Perama, Piraeus, early on December 3, 2013, at approximately 3 a.m. The mishap occurred during the ship's mooring operations as it arrived from Tanjung Pelepas, according to reports from odin.tc. The impact resulted in significant damage to the vessel, with a dent measuring between 10 to 12 meters in length and a crack on the starboard side, approximately 1.2 meters long and between 1.2 to 1.5 meters high. Following the incident, the 'Ever Linking' was detained for necessary surveys to assess the extent of the damage.

The Ever Linking, measuring 334.8 meters in length and 45.8 meters in width, features an impressive 948 reefer plugs and a draft of 14.2 meters, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 24.5 knots. Set to be delivered on October 30, this vessel will enhance Evergreen Line's services on the Far East - Europe route, contributing significantly to international shipping logistics.
